What is "Parent Coaching?"
Parent Coaching is a forward-thinking, proactive process that serves to replace your concerns and frustrations with hope, joy, and results.   

Do I really need a Parent Coach?
The answer to that question is entirely up to you.  Many of our clients have turned to The Parent Element not so much out of need, but instead out of desire to improve their family life and live the ideals they always thought they would be experiencing.

What does a session of parent coaching include?                                                                                         Each 50-60 minute session of coaching will focus on your current concerns and issues with your family.  However, as opposed to centering on just the problems themselves, your coach will ask questions related to your family life as a whole so that the problems and issues can be viewed from a new perspective. 

Within 24 hours of your coaching calls, you will be emailed a comprehensive summary of the call.  And, between calls, you will have unlimited email contact with your coach. 

How many sessions do I need?                                                                                       
In order to create long-term, sustainable changes, we recommend to sign up for a minimum of 6 sessions, with 8-12 sessions being the ideal.  However, we value your time and individual needs, so you are always free to adjust the number of sessions you think would be beneficial. 

I do not live near you?  How will this work?
Most of our clients live in other locations.  Coaching is designed to work very well over the phone, mainly because it allows you flexibility with setting times for our calls.

How are coaching and couseling related?
While counseling often works to heal past situations, coaching meets you where you currently are and moves forward from that point.  Coaching and counseling can work concurrently.  However, if your coach feels that certain issues need to be addressed by a counselor, she will let you know.  

Are the conversations confidential?
Everything we discuss is fully confiential.  In our opinion, there is nothing more personal than your family relationships.  We are honored to be invited into that sacred space and fully respect your privacy.
